VIETNAM VISA REQUIREMENT, INFORMATION AND SERVICEGENERAL INFORMATION Introduction: Only citizens of certain countries can visit Vietnam without an entry visa (valid for visit within 30 days). Those countries include: most Asean countries, Korea, Japan & Scandinavians (2005). All other citizens are required to get an entry visa before departure or a pre-approved entry visa. 1/VISA UPON ARRIVAL This is,of course the easiest way to obtain your visa without having to spend too much time at the embassies and consulates. Please note that this is a valid alternative when applying for a tourist visa. The entry visa will be stamped on your passport as you pass through our immigration checkpoint at the airport of Vietnam or border gates (Overland). How to obtain Visa upon arrival: a- Requirement: to process a visa for you, we need the following information from you: 1. Your title (Mr./Mrs./Ms.) 2. Your name exactly as it appears in your passport 2. Date of birth 3. Nationality 4. Passport No. (valid at least 06 months) 5. Date of Passport issuance 6. Date of Passport expiration 7. Proposed date of arrival 8. Port of arrival - Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) or others (If you come to Vietnam via fixed border gate, you can not change to enter via the others) b- How it work: - As soon as we have your information, we will work with Viet Nam Immigration Department in Hanoi, after we obtain the approval, we will forward you a copy by fax or email. Copies of the same document will be forwarded on your behalf to Vietnam immigration checkpoints at International Airports only, so that when you arrive in Viet Nam, the Immigration officers will have those documents on hand and will be able to issue your entry visa expediently. For those who would like to avoid the perhaps lengthening visa procedures with their local Vietnam's Embassies, the service of Vietnam Visa-On-Arrival is available for help. It is legitimated and supported by the Vietnamese Immigration Department. We recommend that you choose visa upon arrival, as picking up visa at the Vietnam int'l airport is quite simple, easy, no additional charges and no fail.More information at http://www.vietnam-visa.com 1 out of 3 found this valuable. You can totally get Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy, but now most people travelling by air would not choose that way, as there is Vietnam visa on arrival available, so everything can be done online conveniently. The last time I came to Vietnam, i used http://evietnamvisa.com for getting my visa approval and stamp the visa when I entered Vietnam airport. 2 out of 2 found this valuable.
