Have you always wanted to go to Australia, but didn’t think you had the time or money? Now you can win a seven night trip to Australia for adventure, wildlife, fantastic food and friendly locals!

Tourism Australia and Qantas Airways are looking for the best American ambassadors to win a seven-night trip to one of Australia’s great cities: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Perhaps you’ll be off to Sydney, voted one of the world’s best cities for its first-class restaurants, wine valleys, beaches and outdoor adventures.

Maybe you’ll venture to stylish Melbourne, a city of Victorian architecture, trams, fashion, food, theatres, art galleries and leafy gardens.

Or maybe Brisbane and its access to the Great Barrier Reef, wildlife, beautiful beaches and tropical adventure will be the lucky spot?

The "Aussie Week: trip includes two round-trip Qantas Airways Economy Class tickets from Los Angeles to either Sydney, or Melbourne or Brisbane; seven nights accommodation; and select touring options. Travel must commence and be completed between September 30, 2007 and November 30, 2007.

Contest Criteria

To enter the "Aussie Week" contest you are required to:

1) Write an essay on your wiki profile page on why you deserve to win a trip to Australia in particular: Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. Please address the following points in your submission.

• Enthusiasm for visiting Australia
• City you would most like to visit and why (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane)
• Who you would take on this trip and why

The more creative you are the better!

2) Contestants also need to post on your profile page a short (1 minute max) video of yourself that complements your essay. Our panel of judges will pick the 3 best profile pages and send each winner, and a guest of his/her choosing, to one of the three cities.

Your essay and video must be uploaded to your profile page by 8am PST Monday September 24, 2007.

Mail in entries must fill out and print the registration form and mail it with your essay and a VHS video or DVD video to:

Contest starts on September 1, 2007 and ends 8am PST September 24, 2007. Trips must be completed between September 30, 2007 and November 30, 2007. Void where prohibited. Winners will be required to document their trip through photos, videos and a travelogue, which may in the sole discretion of Tourism Australia and Qantas Airways be featured on AussieWeek.com and on any other medium, including television.

Contest winners must meet the Australian Embassy’s criteria for a visa (Electronic Travel Authority) in order to travel.
