Travels in Victoria

Hi,
My name is Ritchie and in 2009 my wife, Fiona and I decided to take our holidays in our home state, Victoria. I have to confess our motives were not all pure! Last year we spent all our holidays interstate or overseas and our decision to travel locally was driven by fiscal considerations as much as by any sense of ignoring our own backyard! Besides,it did not seem such a bad idea to introduce our daughter, Eartha,to the pleasures of our own state. What we did not expect was the wealth of experiences, fun and amazing things we have seen and done, right here in Victoria. So far we have travelled to beautiful Daylesford and Ballarat and the Bendigo/Heathcote/Redesdale area and both those experiences were rich in a variety oy ways including the scenery, food, wine and accommodation.
