multi-day trip to the Coral Sea
Rainforest - 1 or 2 DaysThe World Heritage listed rainforests are just spectacular, first timers cant miss a trip to
Kuranda the Village in the rainforest on
Skyrail or the historic
Kuranda Scenic Railway, and the although a trip to the
Daintree will educate and inspire the best of us, there's some fantastic
bushwalking close to Cairns and surrounds - see the photo a right taken just behind the city on a walk to
Lambs Head.

hot air ballooning because of low prices and great weather on the Atherton Tablelands at Mareeba, or if you have a bit more time maybe join a
turtle rescue project on Cape York with the Mappoon Indigenous community.
