If you are wanting an up-close and informational look at Tasmania's iconic marsupial, I suggest checking out Devils@Cradle, a tasmanian devil conservation and research facility located near Cradle Mountain. At D@C you can gain heaps of knowledge about the tassie devil (as well as the ill-fated Thylacine), watch the devils interact in a natural habitat, and even have a pat of one if the opportunity arises. D@C offers day- and night-time tours, including a feeding-tour enabling you to sneak a peek at the devils mealtime behavior. The staff and wildlife biologists on hand are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about all things devil. Take the time to visit this amazing facility; definitely a don't-miss tassie experience!
