Days 1 to 3 – Sydney

Spend time exploring this vibrant, sophisticated city, built around one of the world's most beautiful harbours. Enjoy the nightlife, admire the stunning opera house and relax on the golden sands of Bondi.

Sydney Harbour BridgeDay 4 – Travel Sydney to Cairns
Cairns, the prime gateway to Tropical North Queensland is the ideal starting point for travellers wanting to explore the Great Barrier Reef, rainforest, outback and the vast wilderness of Cape York Peninsula. With its tree-lined streets, Cairns boasts great shopping malls, efficient transport, sophisticated hotels, cosmopolitan restaurants, cafes and nightclubs and a lifestyle that is in keeping with contemporary city living.

Day 5 - Tropical Beaches
Just north of Cairns are the loveliest beaches in tropical North Queensland, including the idyllic Yorkeys Knob and Ellis Beach, surrounded by rainforest-covered mountains.

Day 6 - Reef Excursion
Take a day cruise to the Great Barrier Reef and swim, snorkel or scuba-dive in a dazzling underwater world. Or you could choose to stay dry and view the reef through a glass-bottomed boat.

Just fifteen minutes from Cairns, the breath-taking Skyrail Cableway carries you over Queensland's amazing tropical rainforest to the bustling Kuranda township. Explore the local food, arts and clothing markets, and walk through the rainforest.
