Day 1 -
Sydney to Central Coast Start your adventure on the Central Coast where you can choose from scuba diving at The Entrance; abseiling and horseriding at Glenworth Valley, deep sea and game fishing from Terrigal; or yacht charters and kayaking on Brisbane Waters … the list goes on. Rest yourself overnight at any of the Central Coast properties.
Day 2 - Central Coast to Port Stephens After a short drive to the Hunter, today's adventure can begin with surfing lessons at Nobby's Beach, or hang-gliding at Dixon Park. Scuba diving is again available with excellent diving on the many wrecks near Newcastle Harbour. Driving west to Hunter Valley Wine Country opens the door to tandem skydiving at Cessnock, horse riding in the mountains or bike riding through the vineyards before heading north to Port Stephens for your overnight accommodation.
Day 3 - Port Stephens to South West Rocks The morning at Port Stephens can be spent water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, surfing or maybe a four wheel drive safari to the sand dunes on Stockton Beach before heading north.
Turn off the highway to Gloucester to canoe or kayak the rapids of 'The Shoot' or 'Washing Machine'! Alternatively, you can head for the Great Lakes for excellent fishing and scuba diving at Seal Rocks, or continue north for exhilarating horse riding at Possum Brush in 40000 acres of forest teeming with wildlife.Tonight you travel to South West Rocks for your overnight accommodation. If you have more time, spend it in Port Macquarie where you will find a large range of adventure such as jetboating, camel riding and kayaking.
Day 4 - South West Rocks to Coffs Harbour Today is one for the divers. The famous Fish Rock Cave, The Pinnacle, Colorado Pass and many excellent sites are accessible from South West Rocks. Deep sea fishing is also a specialty of the area. For the land lovers try a Harley Ride at Stuarts Point 40 km from South West Rocks. This afternoon travel the short drive to Coffs Harbour and check in to your accommodation.
Day 5 - Coffs Harbour and Surrounds Coffs Harbour and surrounds is action packed - whitewater rafting on the Nymboida River, scuba diving the Solitary Island Marine Reserve, four wheel drive safaris in the National Parks or bush walking in the World Heritage listed rainforests. Other adventures are tandem skydiving, go karting, game fishing, Harley tours, and much more.
Day 6 - Coffs Harbour to Gold Coast Take it easy and head further north, stopping at
Byron Bay, a free-spirited coastal townfamous for its
beaches, surfing, diving, and whale-watching. A thriving artistic and alternative lifestyle centre, this tropical beach bohemia attracts both backpackers and those with a mind for sophistication. Enjoy fishing, go hang-gliding, horse riding, join a kayak tour or a four wheel drive tour before heading to the Gold Coast for overnight accommodation.
Day 7 - Gold Coast to Brisbane Start the day with an early morning balloon flight, followed by your choice of abseiling, bungee jumping, parasailing, scuba diving, skydiving, or a flight in an open cockpit Tiger Moth.
A short drive to Brisbane concludes the Pacific Coast Touring Route.
