When you're traveling internationally, a little advice goes a long way. If you learned something the hard way, leave a tip or trick here for other travelers Down Under.
1. Black flies in the Outback: I wish I had known about the black flies that swarm around you in the Outback (and also in Sydney, which surprised me!). They are super annoying, and I would have brought some bug spray or a face net with me. Anyone have ideas on how to deter them?! --heidianna
